The Algerian Minister of Energy, Chairman of the OPEC Conference, Abdelmajid Attar, condemned the attacks on oil installations near the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.In a statement by the Algerian Ministry of Energy today, he stressed the importance of security of supplies, meeting demand for oil, and ensuring its flow to global markets, indicating that such attacks lead to disruption of global oil supplies.He indicated that the security of supplies, meeting the demand for energy, and ensuring its flow to global markets must remain free and not be restricted in any way, stressing that energy is necessary for the global economy as a whole, and that this kind of aggression will lead to disruption of global oil supplies, condemning any attack on oil installations against all OPEC member states.
