Today, the Equestrian Club in Riyadh held its 42nd race ceremony for the Ministry of Energy Cup, the Emirate of Aseer Province Cup, and the King Khalid University Cup as part of the activities of the horse racing season in Riyadh for this year 1440/1441 AH (2019/2020).
The race is of ten rounds, the main were the fifth round on the Ministry of Energy Cup at a distance of 1600 meters for all grades of production mares; The seventh round on the Emirate of Aseer Region Cup, at a distance of 1400 meters for production horses of all grades; The eighth round on the Khalid University Cup at a distance of 1400 meters for production horses of all grades.
His Excellency the Advisor of the Ministry of Energy, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Abdulkarim, awarded the Ministry’s Cup to coach Mamdouh Al-Ali for winning of (Shadawa), owned by the stable of Salem Ali Al Ali’s sons, who won the first place in the fifth round race.
The Undersecretary of the Emirate of Aseer, Mohamed bin Nasser bin Libda, handed the region’s cup to the Administrative Supervisor of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Mr. Saad bin Musharraf for the winning of (Bint Al-Dir'iya), owned by the stable of His Royal Highness, who won the first place in the seventh round race.
While the Vice-Dean of the University in charge, Dr. Abdullatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, handed the King Khalid University Cup to coach Khaled Al-Odaiyani for the winning of (Rageed), which belongs to Khaled Fahad Munir Al-Odayani’s stable, who won the first place in the eighth round race.
