The Ministry of Energy today launched its new official website, in three languages: Arabic, English and Chinese. The website was developed as part of the Ministry's ongoing measures to meet the needs and aspirations of the target users.
The new website reflects the Ministry’s strategic objectives and continued desire to achieve effective communication. It is based on the latest standards and technologies in website design to ensure the highest degree of interaction with the public.
The website is in line with the Ministry’s visual identity, launched in January, and takes into consideration energy transition issues by incorporating information about all the relevant programs and initiatives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The new website’s design emphasizes simplicity and ease of use through an attractive visual map, which enriches content in various energy fields through statistics reflected in infographics and explanatory videos, as well as a brief explanation of the Ministry's objectives and messages.
Among the most important programs and projects in the energy sector in the Kingdom are the efforts to integrate the electricity sector, including the National Renewable Energy Program, to rationalize energy consumption and efficiency. It also addresses climate change issues, including the Circular Carbon Economy (CCE) Program to advance technology and innovation in order to reduce and eliminate emissions.
