Under the patronage of HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, and in the presence of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy and Chairman of Board of Trustees of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) commenced the graduation ceremony of Class 54.
During the ceremony, HRH Governor of the Eastern Region said that the investment in human capital is a priority to the Kingdom's leadership, and highlighted the significant role of female and male youth in building the future of the Kingdom through preparing the youth to obtain academic degrees from distinguished universities.
“We are here today to celebrate the graduation of our students from KFUPM, a university that is renowned for the quality of its academic outcomes in specialized and various disciplines," HRH Governor of the Eastern Region said. He added “We congratulate our graduates as well as their parents upon their success and pray to Allah Almighty to pave a brighter future full of achievements in which they can contribute to the progress of this country".
HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz delivered a speech during the graduation ceremony where he congratulated the graduates, expressing his profound faith in KFUPM alumni's skills and abilities that will contribute to building a brilliant future for the Kingdom.
HRH Minister of Energy added that the Saudi Vision 2030 seeks to engage every spectrum of society in all aspects, and the outcomes of this Vision will positively impact every individual in this country, in the present and the future.
KFUPM President Dr. Mohammed Al-Saqqaf valued the tremendous support provided by the Kingdom's government to the educational sector, stressing the KFUPM's commitment to train and qualify Saudi youth to the highest standards and to graduate highly skilled individuals who can contribute to expanding the Kingdom's economic base through the development of new sectors"
A number of KFUPM graduates delivered inspirational speeches where they expressed their pride in being part of this esteemed University and stressed their commitment to pursue excellence in their professional career.
Also, Multiple visual presentations were presented in which graduates and their families expressed their gratitude and appreciation towards KFUPM. They also congratulated KFUPM alumni upon their achievement. The ceremony featured a short video recounting the story of expatriate students and their journey towards attaining knowledge and success at KFUPM, which was admired and cherished by attendees in the graduation ceremony.
