His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, met with the Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, within the framework of the Saudi-Russian Joint Committee.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of investment and trade exchange between the two countries, including investment in energy fields.
The two sides expressed their appreciation for the existing dialogue between the Kingdom and Russia, and their belief in the necessity of its continuation, the development of bilateral cooperation in all fields, and the overcoming of obstacles facing that cooperation.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the energy sector, Saudi-Russian efforts to maintain the balance and stability of the global oil market, and future work plans within the framework of the (OPEC+) agreement. The meeting also discussed ways to overcome obstacles that may face joint agreements between the two countries in different energy sectors.
