Under the patronage of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, and in the presence of H.E. Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, Minister of Investment, and H.E. Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Saudi Industrial Investment Company (Dussur) and Baker Hughes inaugurated today in Al Jubail the Saudi Petrolite Chemicals Facility focused on providing oilfield and industrial chemicals.
The new facility aims at increasing the Kingdom’s supply base targets of raw materials, such as solvents and glycols, and accelerating the development of the manufacturing skills and capabilities of the local Saudi workforce, contributing to increased Saudization. With faster delivery of fit-for-purpose chemical solutions, the facility will be closer to customers and suppliers, creating efficiencies across the business.
HRH Minister of Energy toured the new facility, and witnessed advanced facilities and technologies.
