His Highness Energy Minister Discusses with CEO and Founder of World Economic Forum Cooperation Between Two Sides

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, met with the CEO and founder of the World Economic Forum Professor Klaus Schwab during his current visit to the Kingdom.

During the meeting, aspects of cooperation and ways to develop it were reviewed, and the two sides discussed the opening of a modern technology center in Riyadh, which is the fifth in the world.

Schwab expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom's active participation in the Forum over many decades, noting his readiness to support the Kingdom in the upcoming G20 summit activities, which will be held in Riyadh next November.

The two sides discussed the Kingdom overcoming the impact of the attacks on Saudi Aramco facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais, and its ability to face such challenges, which were evident in its ability to restore production and achieve balance in a short time.

The Kingdom had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Forum, focusing on cooperation in partnerships between the public and private sectors, as well as key initiatives, including those focusing on the future of energy, health, health care, financial and monetary systems, and other areas.
