His Highness Energy Minister Discusses with Two Singaporean Ministers Cooperation in Carbon Recycling

​His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, met with the Chief Minister of Singapore and Minister of Trade and Industry Dr. Koh Poh Koon, and Minister of Environment and Water Resources Masagus Zulkifli. The meeting discussed the desire to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The two sides exchanged views on the circular carbon economy, addressing carbon emissions, the importance of balance and inclusiveness, by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and adapting to the negative effects of climate change, as well as the importance of achieving balance in the energy mix.

The two sides also discussed the importance of facing the challenges of sustainable development, which implicitly assesses all options and encourages all efforts to reduce carbon accumulations in the atmosphere, while also facilitating global economic growth.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, and promising opportunities to develop cooperation in various fields, especially those related to energy aspects and ways to develop them, and the desire of the Singaporean government to contribute to programs and projects to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030, in addition to exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest.​
