About "TARSHID"

TARSHID is the national energy services company, fully owned by the public investment fund (PIF). It was established in 2017 to be a pioneer in the energy efficiency sector and to build towards a more sustainable future. TARSHID also aims to play a key role in the development of this sector through the establishment of a thriving energy efficiency industry in the Kingdom by attracting key international energy players, promoting foreign investment, and contributing to the creation of thousands of highly skilled jobs.

Company Services

Buildings retrofit

TARSHID manages and funds the upgrade and replacement of energy equipment in buildings and public. facilities, on an exclusive basis for government entities and on a competitive basis for commercial ones. We contract ESCOs to execute, operate and maintain retrofit projects, and recoup realized energy savings. as a return on our investment. TARSHID enables building owners to reduce their energy bills and achieve their sustainability objectives. without necessarily investing their own capital.

Streetlights retrofit

TARSHID develops, manages, and delivers a comprehensive program to retrofit streetlights across the Kingdom in coordination with the municipalities, ministries, and other development authorities. This program aims to decrease the electric consumption of this sector by average (50-60) % as for now it consumed about 10% of the government sector total consumption, Also, one of the goals of this program is to unify the technical specification of LED fixtures and road classification. all over the kingdom to achieve the energy efficiency in streetlight sector according to the international standard and in co-operation with the related organizations like SEEC and SASO.
