This service enables beneficiaries to request the allocation of energy products for activities governed by the Law of Energy Supply. It facilitates the issuance of an official energy allocation document, which is an official document to confirm the Ministry’s approval to supply the beneficiary with the required quantities of energy products.
Service Level Agreement
1. Access the E-Portal:
- Log in through the Ministry of Energy's portal using the National Single Sign-On, for foreign investors, using registered account credentials.
2. Select the service:
- Select “Energy Allocation Requests”
3. Fill Out the Request Form, including:
- General Information about the Entity
- Contact Information
- Project details
- Technical Requirements of the Project
- Funding Sources and Financial Details
- Attachments of the required documents
4. Review and submit the request:
- Review the accuracy of all entered information, then submit the request.
5. Issuance of Energy Allocation letter:
- Upon approval, the Energy Allocation letter will be issued and delivered to the national address provided in the request.
- The entity must possess a valid commercial registration issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Government entities that do not engage in commercial activities are exempt from this requirement.
- For new industrial projects within the industrial sector, the entity must submit an industrial license at the establishment stage, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
- Existing entities are required to provide a valid license from the competent authority authorizing the conduct of economic activities. This license must confirm that the entity is lawfully engaged in a legitimate economic activity and complies with all applicable requirements.
- If the applicant is a foreign investor, a license issued by the Ministry of Investment is required, authorizing the conduct of commercial activities within the Kingdom.
